Instructions to Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to Indonesian Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Multimodal Systems (IJAIMS) must ensure that their submissions comply with the journal’s formatting and ethical standards.
All manuscripts must conform to the official IJAIMS article format. Authors are required to use the journal template before submission.

Phases for Publishing the Articles
- Authors submit manuscripts through the official OJS-based submission system.
- The editorial team conducts an initial screening for relevance and completeness.
- Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind system.
- If conflicting recommendations arise, a third reviewer may be appointed.
- Authors revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ comments.
- Accepted manuscripts undergo reference verification and formatting checks.
- The article is typeset and reviewed for layout and graphical quality.
- Authors approve the final proof before publication.
- The article is assigned to an issue and published online with an e-ISSN and DOI.
Form and Preparation of Manuscripts
1. Title Page
- Full article title (clear and concise)
- Abstract (≤250 words)
- 3–5 keywords
- Author information (submitted separately for blind review): full name, affiliation, email, ORCID (if available)
2. Abstract
The abstract must be written in English (maximum 250 words) and structured as follows: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
3. Main Text Structure
- Introduction: Research background, problem statement, objectives, novelty, and contributions.
- Methodology: Research design, datasets, model architecture, tools, experimental setup, and evaluation metrics.
- Results and Discussion: Experimental findings, comparative analysis, performance metrics, interpretation, limitations, and implications.
- Conclusion: Key findings, contributions, and recommendations for future work.
- Acknowledgments: Optional – funding sources and institutional support.
- References: Must follow IEEE citation style.
4. Tables and Figures
- All tables and figures must be cited within the text.
- Provide clear titles and captions.
- Submit high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).
- Previously published figures require proper citation and permission.
5. Reference Style
- Use IEEE citation style (numbered in order of appearance).
- Minimum of 25 references.
- At least 80% must come from internationally indexed journals or conferences.
6. Copyright Assignment
Authors must sign a copyright statement confirming originality and agreement with the journal’s licensing terms prior to publication.
7. Ethics Statement
Research involving human subjects, datasets containing personal data, or sensitive information must include ethical approval and compliance statements.
8. Generative AI Disclosure
Authors must disclose the use of generative AI tools (e.g., for writing assistance, code generation, or figure creation). Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their work.
