Decree for Reviewer
Indonesian Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Multimodal Systems (IJAIMS) formally appoints qualified scholars and experts as reviewers to support the journal’s peer-review process and ensure academic quality and integrity.
Reviewers are appointed based on academic qualifications, research experience, publication record, and subject-matter expertise relevant to artificial intelligence and multimodal systems.
1. Appointment Authority
The appointment of reviewers is authorized by the Editor-in-Chief of IJAIMS under the authority of SIVIA Research Publishing. Reviewer appointments are granted for a specified term and may be renewed based on performance and availability.
2. Scope of Responsibilities
- Review submitted manuscripts objectively and confidentially
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations
- Evaluate originality, methodology, clarity, and scientific contribution
- Identify ethical concerns, including plagiarism or conflicts of interest
- Submit review reports within the specified timeframe
3. Term of Appointment
Reviewer appointments are valid for a defined period (typically one to three years), subject to renewal based on contribution, responsiveness, and adherence to journal policies.
4. Ethical Commitment
All appointed reviewers must adhere to the journal’s Publication Ethics and Peer Review Policy. Confidentiality, impartiality, and academic integrity are mandatory throughout the review process.
5. Revocation of Appointment
The editorial office reserves the right to revoke a reviewer appointment in cases of misconduct, repeated failure to complete reviews, conflict of interest, or violation of ethical standards.
Official reviewer appointment letters may be issued upon request by the editorial office for institutional documentation purposes.
